Pest control onsite Feb 13, 2020 - follow all recommendations provided including:
1. Regular cleaning of kitchen, hot water tank, sushi bar and dishwashing spot
2. Increase frequency of pest control services
-Dropping clean up appears to have improved since last inspection
-Owner has indicated via email they will continue monthly service, this is not acceptable under the current pest issue and recommendations provided by pest control.
***Increase pest control service to biweekly service and if necessary weekly. Monthly service is not acceptable at this time until pest issues have improved.
***Provide next 2 pest control reports to Fraser Health to allow continued monitoring of pest issue.
-Pest control will need to remove dead mouse and reset trap(s).

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: 1. Manual dishwashing - wash and rinse only, no sanitizing solution available in any sink. All 3 compartments has dirty dishes
2. Wiping cloths noted on counters without sanitizer detected. Sanitizer bucket noted behind 3 comp sink faucets at 100 ppm chlorine - solution appears clear, clean and unused.
3. No sanitizer spray bottle noted to replace broken bottle from last inspection.
Correction: 1. Ensure manual dishwashing is being followed

-3 comp sink cleaned and each compartment prepared with 100 ppm chlorine detected in 3rd compartment

2.Sanitizer solution must be available at 100-200 ppm chlorine with wiping cloths. When in spray bottle it must be functional (not broken).

-Mouse droppings have been cleaned up in lower shelving, cabinets and dishwashing areas
-Pest control service provided on Feb 13, 2020 as required. Additional service required (*violation noted above)
