Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cold potentially hazardous foods in the front of the Monster mini cooler by the cashier not held at 4C or less. The creamers have an internal temperature of 7.9C. First two row of sandwiches have an internal temperature have an internal temperature of 10.8C. The ambient temperature of the cooler in the back is at 4C. These sandwiches have been placed in the cooler since yesterday night. Instructed operator to discard the creamers and first two row of sandwiches as they have been stored in the danger zone (4C to 60C) for more than 2 hours, which supports pathogen growth and can lead to foodborne illness when consumed.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Potato wedges have an internal temperature of 55C and deep fried chicken have an internal temperature of 40C. These were put in the hot holding unit within 2 hours. Instructed staff to reheat foods to 74C and hot hold at 60C. Educated staff to use a thermometer to regularly monitor the internal temperature of the food

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Mop and bucket and step ladder obstructing the handwash sink in the kitchen. Educated operator that the handwash station needs to be accessible for handwashing. Staff removed the mop, bucket and step ladder in front of the handsink

4. Fan cover in the walk-in cooler not free of dust

Please service the cooler so the entire cooler can maintain 4C and below.

Routine inspection (inspection conducted in collaboration with another EHO)

- Handsink fully equipped with hot/ cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- All other coolers measured to be at 4C or less
- All freezers measured to be at -18C or less
- Bleach sanitizer measured to be at 200ppm
- No pest activity detected during time of inspection. Mouse trap available onsite.

Note:
1. One ice cream chest freezer in the front not in use and turned off. Staff indicated that they are having it replaced
