Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #EGAU-BFBPBW have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

There were two staff and 8 children present in the under 36 months program and two staff and 12 children in the 30 months to school age program.

At this inspection, no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following was discussed:

· COVID-19 prevention strategies.
· Staffing.
· Monitoring the water temperature to ensure it is not too cold so children can wash their hands effectively.

Licensing visited the outdoor play areas located outside of the property boundaries.

The information contained in the report was discussed with the manager and the report and risk assessment were written off-site. Licensing advised that copies of the report and risk assessment would be emailed to the facility. Licensing provided a resource package containing information around COVID-19 prevention.
