Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A mesh bag of onions was stored on the floor soaking in a pool of water left from cleaning. The onions were in direct contact with the water.
Corrective Action(s): Discard this bag of onions. Ensure all food is stored at least 6 inches off the floor.

402 - Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff observed to wash hands with gloves on.
Corrective Action(s): Discard current gloves and wash hands properly before putting on a new pair of gloves. Gloves must be discarded and swapped for a new pair when:
1. Performing different duties (handling food and taking out garbage)
2. Handling different types of food (raw meat/fish and vegetables)
3. Gloves become soiled or damaged
4. Going on break or washroom
5. Every 2 hours
Proper hand washing must be done between swapping gloves.

Observation: Sanitation of the hand washing station and floors underneath equipment has been improved but debris still observed in the following areas:
- Walls, floors, and storage rack of walk-in cooler
- Inside the back freezer
- Ventilation hood
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize noted areas. This is a repeat violation. Further observations may result in enforcement action.

- Bulk food scoops are no longer stored in the bulk bins. Ensure the scoops are cleaned regularly and stored in a clean dedicated container when not in use.
