Observation: Noticed that main bay door was open at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Since the facility is located close to a creek, a screen door must be provided if bay door is to be left open.

Comments

*It is recommended to start water sampling from the water hauling truck. Please follow Fraser Health water sampling instructions.
* Clean and sanitize the exterior of the water filling hoppers to remove rust marks (By October 30, 2017).
* Cleaning and sanitation logs must be completed by appropriate staff and verified by supervisor as per company policies.

The plant is set up for bottling spring water for export to the Chinese market.
A hand sink with touch less liquid soap and paper towel dispenser has been installed in the production/bottling area.
The water outlet valve at the back of the truck and receiving hose are disinfected with 99 % Isopropyl alcohol prior to connecting with receiving hose.
Water receiving hose is stored in a secure/locked cabinet. The collection hose is equipped with end cap to prevent contamination.
CIP is performed at least weekly on all filling machines, pipes and water tanks. 400 ppb ozone is used for CIP cleaning and sanitizing.
Spring water to be bottled is treated with 100-200 ppb ozone.
Ozone alarm is available for employee safety.
Food Safety Plan and sanitation plan in place.
Pest control services provided by Express Pest Control. Please keep all pest control service reports in Food safety logs.
General sanitation is satisfactory.
