Routine Inspection
Hand sink equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use towels.
3 compartment sink available for manual dishwashing.
High temperature dishwasher not tested at the time of inspection as kitchen was not in use at the time of inspection.
***Please verify that the dishwasher is achieving sanitization. The gauge should register 82 C for 10 seconds during final rinse cycle. Temperature verification should be added to dishwashing instructions that are posted on the wall.
Bleach surface sanitizer available gallon container. Ensure there is extra bleach stock to make a fresh solution. Only 1/2 tsp per litre of water is required for 100-200 ppm bleach solution.
***Note: the label on the bottle is fading. Ensure bottle is clearly labelled to prevent chemical contamination.
2 door cooler at 4 C.
Both chest freezers at -18 C.
Food safety checklist is maintained for community dinners - good.
Dinners are run by a FOODSAFE certified individual.
