Routine check of small "banquet kitchen" on main floor of Rec Center.
Triple sink and hand sink in kitchen. Oven /cooking equipment also available.
Hand sink has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispensers.
Both coolers at 4C (40F) or colder.
No chlorine on site. Dishwasher is a commercial countertop dishwasher (not in use and not checked today but appears to require chlorine sanitizer for final rinse).
Note: Those using the kitchen can wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry their utensils and dishes etc. using the three sinks.
***To sanitize: Provide plain domestic chlorine bleach and use 1 tsp (5mL) of bleach in 1 liter of water to make a 100-200ppm chlorine sanitizing solution.

Pest control monitoring in place.
Kitchen is used for some Parks and Recreation programs for teaching and also for some public food events.
In some cases, a temporary food permit is required. Application can be submitted to Fraser Health.
