Piercing services - ear lobe and nose piercing only. No cartilage piercing.
Hand washing sink with hot/cold water, liquid soap, paper towels provided for hand washing.
Non-latex disposable gloves also provided.
Disinfecting wipes used for disinfecting counter and sink area prior to providing service. Paper towels is also placed over counter prior to service.
Nose and earlobe piercing guns are used with single use, pre-packaged, sterile piercing needle(stud) cartridges. Check expiry date prior to use.
Piercing gun is disinfected with disinfecting wipes (exp 2025). Wipes have TB claim (intermediate level disinfectant) - good.
After care instructions provided to client.
Staff are trained in procedures.
Age restrictions for piercing - parental permission required for services for minors (as per Claire's policy).
Note that the counter by the hand sink is becoming worn - plan for future repair/replacement. |
