HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 8
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Wall-mounted potato cutter was observed to have food debris (potato). It was stated that potato cutter was last used yesterday.
Corrective Action(s): Potato cutter was cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized at time of inspection. Ensure that potato cutter is properly cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized after each use. Left over food debris (potato) may potentially attract pest activity in this area.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A small disposable styrofoam cup was observed in a container of dry food product. Styrofoam cup was torn on one edge.
Corrective Action(s): Styrofoam cup discarded by management at time of inspection. Ensure that disposable cups and/or scoops are not used for scooping food product as they are intended for single use only and are not intended to be washed and sanitized. Materials may degrade over time. If reusable scoops are used, ensure that scoops with purpose-built handles are stored in a manner that protects food from potential contamination from the handle (i.e. handle stored outside of food product).
Violation Score: 3
