Observation: The hot water in the bathroom sink in the play area downstairs that children use to wash their hands was recorded at 53.6 *C. The LO discussed with the Licensee the requirement for the temperature to not exceed 49 *C.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure heated water accessible to children does not exceed 49 * C.

Observation: The lunch kits for the children in care are stored on the counter in the kitchen area. Some items were stored in lunch kits that are perishable and the ice pack had melted.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure healthy eating habits are promoted including the appropriate storage of perishable food items. Corrected during inspection by storing perishable food in fridge and replacing the ice pack.
