Routine check of produce store also selling eggs, cheese, and deli meats (slicing on-site).
Eggs - received delivery today. Receipt available. Eggs are still cold. Store eggs in the coolers (space is available).
Deli meat cooler air temperature is 6 C but meat temperature is 4 C. All other coolers (other display cooler, 2 door Russell and 4 door coolers) are at 4 C or colder - good.
Thermometers are available to check fridge temperatures.
Meat deliveries Thursdays.
Meat slicing - slicer is cleaned and sanitized every 2-4 hours. Spray bottle is labelled and 200ppm chlorine sanitizer is used. Air dry. A brush is available for cleaning slicer.
Meats are on trays that can be washed and sanitized.
Two compartment sink - keep the sinks empty so that they can be used for cleaning and for hand washing.
Hand washing sink has liquid soap and paper towels. Disposable non-latex gloves are also used.
Staff washroom is for staff only. Liquid soap and paper towels are available.
