Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice scoop observed sitting on top of ice machine, not in a container. Operator was notified and immediately cleaned and sanitized the ice scoop and place it in a bucket.

Observation: Grease and debris observed underneath cook line equipment. Floors were slippery throughout kitchen. Grease and food debris will attract pests and pose a fire hazard concern. [Date to be corrected by: November 18, 2018]

Observation:
Observation #1: Two light bulbs in ventilation hood are not working. Light bulbs are required to adequately light the space for cooking and cleaning purposes. [Date to be corrected by: November 30, 2018]
Observation #2: Broken plastic container holding noodles soaking in solution in walk-in cooler. Broken container poses a food safety concern as pieces of plastic may chip into food and harm customers. As well, the broken container does not allow the food to be protected from contamination. [Date to be corrected by: November 30, 2018]
Observation #3: Paper towel dispenser in kitchen is not in good working order. To use it, staff have to tape up the sides in order to keep it shut and prevent it from falling into the dishware below. [Date to be corrected by: November 30, 2018]
Corrective Action(s):
Corrective Action #1: Replace the burnt out bulbs in the ventilation hood.
Corrective Action #2: Conduct an inventory check for broken equipment, discard and replace with new.
Corrective Action #3: Replace the paper towel dispenser.
