Observation: - Styrofoam splashguard was added to janitorial sink. Styrofoam is not a suitable material as it is not durable or easily cleanable.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove styrofoam splashguard and replace with splashguard which is impervious, durable and easily cleanable.

Comments

- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition
- Handsinks (front and back) were supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
- Coolers and freezer were operating at required temperatures (4C or below; -18 or below) and equipped with thermometers

- 2 door reach in freezer -22C
- Frozen dessert mix in hopper of soft serve machine 3C
- Soft serve machine is cleaned and sanitized daily. Sterasheen cleaner + sanitizer is used.
- Foods were stored in a manner to prevent contamination - covered with tight fitting lid or food grade wrap.
- Dry storage areas organized with all food products stored off of the floor.
- Bleach sanitizer solution present in spray bottle designated for food preparation area. Concentration measured 200ppm chlorine.
- Manual warewashing in place. Sink compartment for sanitizing step was filled with bleach solution which measured 200ppm chlorine. Test strips present for checking concentration.
- No signs of pest activity noted at the time of the inspection.
- Washroom available to public maintained and supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
