Routine inspection conducted. - 2x lay down tanning beds and 3x standing tanning units present. - Health Canada issued age restriction warning signage posted in each room. - QUATS based Virex II 256 disinfectant present in each room and used to disinfect the tanning beds after each client use. - All beds were found in good condition. No signs of damage/cracks observed on the bulbs. - Manager stated that tanning beds are serviced after every 300 hours. - Exposure time is monitored. 9 min for standing and 2 min for lay down beds. - Pre-screening protocol in place to verify age of the clients. - Safety eye glasses are brought by each client. - Handwash sink present and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels. - Washrooms maintained in good sanitary condition.
