Observation:
Found a gap between the double doors, which exits to the smoking area. The gap will allow pests to enter.
Corrective Action(s):
Block the gap between the double doors to prevent the entry of pests.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Cooler 4C; freezer -26C; thermometers present; and temps recorded daily.
- High temperature dishwasher had a rinse cycle temperature of 78.8C at the plate's surface, as per max/min thermometer.
- Lysol disinfectant had Quats strength of 200ppm. Test strips present.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; date coded; foods stored in groups with raw proteins stored separately or below RTE foods; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves or racks.
- No expired foods in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- General sanitation level is good.
- Regular cleaning of resident snack cupboards, and/or cupboards that are not used regularly shall be done. Incorporate this in your cleaning schedule.
- No signs of pests.
- Discussed inspection results with the Admin Supervisor, no signature obtained due to the pandemic.
