Introduction

A scheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). The following areas were inspected for compliance: physical facility, care and supervision, hygiene and communicable disease control, and medication.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated April 15, 2020, there were 3 children, 1 staff and the Manager present.
The following was discussed with the Manager:
· Sanitizing and disinfecting
· Systems in place to ensure emergency supplies are updated and current
· Snack and mealtimes
· Updating policies and procedures

As part of the routine inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.
The inspection report was written off-site – all details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the inspection report and risk assessment were e-mailed to the Manager on April 15, 2020.
