306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: A) Toilet in washroom plugged up and overflowing onto floor. Signs the waste water has spread to other parts of back storage area. B) Walk-in cooler ceiling is peeling and the floor is rotten. Corrective Action(s): Discussed with operator. A) Drain is close to outside and likely frozen. Turn off water to stop flooding, clean and disinfect the floor of washroom and storage area. This will be checked on reinspection date noted on report. B) Floor needs to be replaced. Extend plastic coating on ceiling in area where paint is flaking off. Project for the summer. Violation Score: 9

Walk-in cooler is better cleaned. Dust and mould is less evident. Paint is still flaking in areas over food. This must be fixed. Cooling units less than 4 C. Freezers below -18 C.
