Comments

A follow-up inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- The ceiling and upper walls of the kitchen have been cleaned. No accumulation of dust or grease found.
- The interior surfaces of the ice machine has been cleaned and there is no mildew.
- The owner of the premises contacted the complex owner about the fly problem. The complex owner had a pest control company service the premises. Staff explained the pest technician stated they had a fruit fly infestation and stated the source was in the ceiling and it was systemic concern in the complex. The pest technician provided mechanical traps and sticky fly paper, no chemical treatment was done. The population of flies as visibly decreased, but staff explain the population blooms again during the night.
- If the population of flies does NOT steadily decrease and eliminated within 2 weeks, have the premises chemically treated to eliminate the fly infestation. If the premises needs chemical treatment to eliminate the flies, follow all pre and post instructions from the pest technician. All foods and cookware shall be placed in sealed containers and covered prior to treatment. All surfaces, equipment and cookware shall be washed and sanitized post treatment, prior to production of food.
-Discussed inspection results with staff, no signature obtained due to the pandemic.
