At today’s inspection there were 6 children and 1 staff present. Licensing conducted a walk through of the entire facility.
At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy will be provided to the facility along with this report. The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during a routine inspection and typically a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency. This facility was only recently licensed so this risk rating will not include a 3 year historical review.
The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the licensee prior to the inspection report being written off-site; therefore, no signature attached. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager on January 6 , 2022.
The Licensing Officer met with the manager and discussed the following:
Continued monitoring of the gate that leads to the body of water located behind the facilty.
The licensee informed licensing that the sand box cover is in process of being replaced and the ordered replacement cover has not arrived. The sand is being sifted and monitored
Validation of ECE certificate in future when certificate is renewed
