Observation: Left side wire rack located in walk in cooler has been painted since the last inspection; however, paint was observed to be chipping in some areas. Note: Food items are covered.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure wire rack finish is not chipping (refinish or replace rack) and ensure food continues to be kept covered at all times. Provide a surface that is smooth, non-porous, easy-to-clean, in good condition, and suitable for the intended purpose. Date to be corrected by: October 1, 2019.

Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-BESVD4.
- Equipment / utensils observed to be stored in sanitary condition
- Noted improvement in overall sanitation. Areas noted on previous report under violation code 306 appear to have been cleaned since last inspection. Reminder to ensure cleaning is performed on an ongoing basis to limit the accumulation of food debris and grease.
- No gap observed at bottom of screen door. A door sweep is in place.
- No concerns with hand washing or hygiene practices at time of inspection. Discussed proper hand washing and hygiene requirements with operator.
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection. Operator FOODSAFE Level 1 is valid to May 6, 2023. Reminder to ensure that at least one staff member on duty holds a valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (or equivalent) when the operator is not on site.
