Follow-up inspection to routine (RPT#: JMAA-BDCTCW on June 21, 2019). The following observations were noted:
Deceased mouse removed from the lentils area in the back storage room
Old rodent droppings in the following areas have been bleached and removed: pepper section of walk-in cooler, bottom shelf of bread area where pound cakes were stored, onion skid section near the electrical panel, aisle 6, underneath the bananas near the back produce area, in the upstairs bag room, and behind the microwave
NOTE: Some old droppings were still observed in the bag room underneath boxes. Manager states that they are to be removed later today - good
Unsanitary conditions (e.g. debris) in the bulk bin area have been cleaned - good
Back walls are still fitted with floor-to-ceiling boards (as noted from the previous year's routine inspection BCUD-AXZUG7)
All mechanical rodent traps were reset - no rodents observed in traps at time of inspection
Pest control company last arrived on July 2, 2019. According to the report, 2 of 19 mechanical traps contained rodents (one near the bay door, and in the 'right perimeter 1' of the back warehouse). Ensure that the exit doors are tightly shut when not in use.
Continue working with your professional pest control company and address any structural deficiencies which may allow for the entry of pests and rodents. Pest control company will be arriving every 2 weeks. Ensure that the store remains in good sanitary condition, and that any emerging holes are promptly addressed. |
