Routine inspection with the presence of the banquet hall manager Jim Kalsi

- General sanitation was satisfactory.
- Handwash sink was fully equipped with hand soap, paper towel and cold/hot running water.
- Walk in cooler measured below 4C. Food containers properly covered.
- Walk in freezer -20.5C.
- No hot holding / cooking/ reheating during inspection. Staff in the kitchen preparing for the night event.
- High temperature dishwasher at 78.5C at the final rinse cycle.
- Ecolab sanitizer 200ppm available by the dispenser; 100ppm bleach in the bucket used for sanitizing all the surfaces.
- Discussion made with the manager how to properly store Clean Utensils.
- 2-compartment sink was available for dish washing.
- Ventilation Canopy serviced every 6 month and the coming service is scheduled next Monday.
- Dry Goods stored off floor and protected from potential contamination. Dry storage area well organized.
- Randomly selected foods were within their Best Before Date.
- Chemical stored away from food.
- Staff Washroom was in a sanitary condition.
- Staff on duty have their FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent valid certificate.

Note: A few fresh mouse droppings observed by the back gate during the inspection. Remind manager to communicate with Abell pest technician. Back gate was observed tightly closed.
