Observation:
General sanitation is good, but legs of tables & wheels; food containers; and shelves has accumulated flour.
Corrective Action(s):
Clean these areas on a routine basis or stored items in closed containers or cover with food grade plastic to protect from food spill.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation:
The door gaskets/seals on the cooler are broken. All the cold air is escaping and warm air is entering. This is causing the motor to constantly run and costing more money.
Corrective Action(s):
Replace all the door gaskets/seals with new ones so the doors seal properly and keep the cold air in.

Observation:
The cement floor in the pizza oven area has peeling paint and unsealed cement. This makes it difficult to properly clean.
Corrective Action(s):
Reseal the cement floor so it can properly be cleaned.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers were 4C; thermometers present; and no temperatures recorded.
- High temperature dishwashers was 79C during the rinse cycle, at the plate's surface, as per min/max thermometer.
- Hand sinks stocked with running hot and cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- Food storage practices done correctly. All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; in groups with raw proteins on lowest shelves below RTE foods; and 6" on shelves.
- FIFO rule being followed. No expired foods for sale.
- General sanitation is good. No signs of pests.
