Observation: Bleach sanitizer spray bottles were labelled with a Quats sanitizer label. This is an ongoing violation.
Corrective Action(s): Remove Quats sanitizer label from the spray bottles or obtain new spray bottles and ensure all chemicals are properly labelled to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals.

Observation: Staff member was unable to successfully complete FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent training. Staff member will be rewriting the exam.
Corrective Action(s): While in operator, at least one staff member in the premise must have FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training. Staff member must successfully complete FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent training or operator will need to adjust staff schedules.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to February 09, 2024.
-No donair meat in the vertical grill at the time of inspection. Staff stated the grill is no longer turned off and frozen cones are not placed back into the cooler for future use. Provided a physical copy of the "Guideline for the Safe Preparation and Serving of Donairs, Shawarmas and Similar Products".
Bleach sanitizer spray bottles were at 200ppm to 400ppm at the time of inspection. To prepare 100ppm to 200ppm bleach sanitizer, add 1/2 teaspoon bleach to 1 litre of water.
-Did not observe foods stored in the ground at the time of inspection.
