Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Mildew growth observed on the water tray inside the ice machine.
Correction: Clean and sanitize the inside of the ice machine. Discard the first batch of ice and the first batch after sanitizing. Follow your sanitation plan for regular cleaning schedule. Correct by: Immediately.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: 1. Hand washing station in the kitchen was obstructed by the chest cooler and not easily accessible. 2. Wall-mounted paper towel dispenser not dispensing paper at the 3 compartment sink.
Correction: 1. Relocate the chest freezer to allow easy access to the hand washing station. Corrected during inspection.
2. Service / replace the wall-mounted paper towel dispenser. In the meantime, use the paper towels from the hand washing station.

Follow-up Inspection:
Inside of ice machine has been cleaned and sanitized. No mildew/debris present at the time of inspection.
Hand washing station is clear and accessible.
Paper towel dispenser at 3-compartment sink has been changed from automatic to manual and stocked with paper towels.
No opened cans observed in the coolers at the time of inspection. Ensure when canned goods are opened, any remaining product is transferred to a food-grade container and then stored in the cooler.
Raw meats stored underneath any potentially hazardous foods in the walk-in cooler. Vegetables stored on separate shelf in the walk-in cooler.
All food items in the walk-in cooler are covered with food-grade plastic.
A new garbage can is now being used for discarding trash. No garbage bag hanging on 3-compartment sink faucet at the time of inspection.
Cleaning and organizing done for dry storage products and all other equipment storage shelves.
FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate copies are now posted on wall in a visible area.

Note: Additional storage shelves installed in kitchen area above chest freezer and in dry storage area - APPROVED.
