Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation:
- Deep gashes, food debris and food stain observed on the cutting board and the conveyer belt. The sanitation on those surfaces has been improved. Owner contacted Ecolab to install the dispensing system and get the cleaning tools.
Correction: - Continue to work on the sanitation of the food contact surfaces.

Observation:
- Repeat Violation
- Deep gashes, food stains and food debris observed on the cutting boards and the conveyer belts.
Correction:
- Cutting boards need resurfacing or replacement. Brush the cutting board before sanitizing by the end of the day.
- Conveyer belts need a good cleaning. Only power washing won't solve the problem.

Comments

Follow up inspection conducted with the presence of the owner.

- Ecolab dispensing cart equipped onsite for cleaning and sanitizing the meat facility more conveniently and effectively.
- White racks available for keeping the meat tubs off floor in the meat processing area.
- Cleaning tools like brushes available.
- The drains get cleaned and sanitized daily.

Note: please replace the conveyer belts if they are no longer easily got cleaned.
