Routine inspection conducted:

- Store floor coolers at 4 degrees C or less
- Produce, meat, and dairy walk in coolers at 4 degrees C or less
- Walk-in and store floor freezers satisfactory
- First in first out appears to be in use based on a sample of products checked
- Bulk area and bins observed to be in clean condition. Slots are available for safe storage of scoops. Discussed cleaning and sanitizing of smaller bins and scoops, as well as product turnover--no concerns. Disposable liners in use for large bins.
- A random sample of canned goods were observed to be in good condition. It was stated that dented cans are removed from the store floor for reclamation.
- A random sample of nutritional supplements and infant formula was observed to be within expiry.
- Food items are stored off the floor
- Sanitizer available at 200 ppm quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) from ware washing sink dispensers and in labeled spray bottles
- Hand washing sinks are unobstructed and supplied with warm running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels
- Chemical storage separate from food storage
- Temperatures are monitored electronically by a third party
- No signs of pest activity at time of inspection. Premises is serviced by a licensed pest control operator on a biweekly basis. Recent pest control reports reviewed at time of inspection--no concerns.
