Observation: Food items were stored directly on the floor in the dry storage room (ie. flour, rice in bags) and in the main kitchen (ie. sauce in bucket).
Corrective Action(s): Store all food items at min 6 inches off the floor to prevent contamination in the areas noted above.

Observation: The operator has not provided an acceptable Food Safety Plan (FSP) for sweet desserts/baked items (ie rasgulas, gulab jaman).
Corrective Action(s): Submit an acceptable FSP for sweet desserts/baked items. You are not approved to be preparing sweet desserts on site. Stop serving/dispensing sweet items.

Observation: There are no paper towel and hand soap dispensers installed at the front handwashing station near the display coolers.
Corrective Action(s): Install paper towel and hand soap dispensers at the area noted above. This was part of the conditional approval for your facility.

Comments

- General sanitation is good.
- All handwashing stations stocked with cold/hot running water, soap, and paper towels.
- All coolers (walk in, prep, upright, display) < or = to 4C.
- All freezers (chest) < or = to -18C.
- Most food items are stored in plastic insert containers with lids.
- High temperature dishwasher (stationary) achieved 71C at the plate's level during the rinse cycle.
- Surface sanitizer available in bucket with presoaked wiping cloths at 100 ppm Chlorine solution. Ensure to provide surface sanitizer at each station (ie. main kitchen, serving area) at all times to clean and sanitize food contact surfaces.
- Dry storage area is satisfactory. Dry food items stored in carts with proper lids. Do not store scoops inside the carts.
- No signs of pest activity.
- FOODSAFE certified staff.
- Please ensure to clean hard to reach places (ie. underneath grill, ovens, other major equipment) on a routine basis to prevent build up of dirt and grease.
Note: This food premises was approved to be dispensing/serving food items (Indian sweet desserts) obtained from Dhaliwal Sweets (approved food premises). These items were not approved to be processed on site without an acceptable FSP. Immediately stop the processing of these food items on site until you have submitted a FSP and is approved by the health inspector. The staff voluntarily discarded all the food items.
