Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated June 16, 2021 there were 6 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
A COVID-19 Risk Screening was also completed.
Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
- Increased indoor ventilation
- Continue to sanitize and clean the facility including toys and equipment
- Displaying the licence in a more prominent place
- Stabilizing contents on the shelves
- New application procedures
