Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 3 display coolers were between 4C to 6C with cakes and sausage rolls in them. All coolers need to be 4C or below for storage of potentially hazardous foods to prevent growth of bacteria.
Corrective Action(s): Turn down the setting to ensure all parts of the display cooler are at 4C or below.

Observation: Large amounts of pickled mango chilli in 16L containers were observed in storage in the basement. This food product has not been approved for processing and sale at this facility. 92, 16L containers and 6 small take out containers of this product is held by Fraser Health.
Corrective Action(s): Do not produce any more of this product. Do not remove this held product from this premise and do not sell this product to the public. Hold on this product is in effect until it is reviewed and approved by Fraser Health.

Submit lab testing result of food to ensure it is not a shelf stable food along with required labelling for product. An update to the food safety plan is required also. Documents required in 1 week.

Observation: Mice droppings observed in corners of the kitchen and behind shelving. Pest control service and monitors facility once a month.
Corrective Action(s): Wash and sanitize these areas. Contact pest control company to monitor and reduce activity. Correction required this week.

Labelling, lab testing and food safety plan update are required for pickled mangos and chillis product before they can be sold to the public.
