Routine inspection: Manicure/pedicure: PREempt CS20 solution (within expiry date) available for use in a soaking tray and jar. All semi critical nail implements disinfected in PREempt CS20 solution. Reminder to fill jar to adequate level to allow for full submersion of semi critical nail implements. All buffers, files, sanding blocks, toe spacers, plastic slippers, etc. single use. Note: ensure for staff use only buffers and sanding blocks are stored in ziplock bags in a designated area. Pedicure tub is lined with a plastic bag that is discarded after use. Pedicure tub also wiped down with a bleach solution after use. Credo blades single use and discarded into a sharps container. Note: Steri-Dent dry heat sterilizer still only used to stored disinfected nail implements. Waxing: All wax sticks and strips single use. Paper liner for treatment bed discarded after use. Paraffin wax dispensed into single use plastic bags and discarded after use. Eyelash extensions and eye brow tinting: Both services done by trained individual only. Glue and tint products provided with warning labels. General: Hand sink provided with with liquid soap and paper towels. Laundry services done onsite. Washroom hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
