Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted mildew build up in small ice machine in the back. Instructed staff member on duty to empty ice machine and thoroughly clean and sanitize the unit.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure ice machine is emptied and cleaned/sanitized routinely (suggested once a month) to keep it clean.

Comments

Hand wash stations (front, back, three compartment sink, washrooms) were fully equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water. No obstructions.
All coolers 4C or less (walk in, under counter, prep cooler..etc)
Walk in freezer -18C and undercounter freezer - 14C
General sanitation satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
Quat sanitizer 200ppm.
Manual ware washing procedures reviewed at time of inspection – no concerns.
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered, lights in food prep areas had covers..etc)
