Services provided as noted from previous inspections:
- Hair (no shaving), Esthetics (facials, waxing, eyelash/brow tinting), Nails (manicure, pedicure, foot bath, no artificial nails), Tattooing (permanent make up, microblading), Non-registered massage.
- ***Notify Fraser Health if there are any changes to these services.
- Esthetics/nails room and microblading/permanent make up room closed today - not checked during this inspection.
Hair services inspection:
- Hair services provided by one owner and by chair rental hair stylists. ***Provide an updated list of hair chair rentals.
- No shaving (no razors). ***Advise if any hair stylists are providing eyebrow tinting services.
- Hair stylists share barbicide containers.
***Recommend changing barbicide more frequently and keeping track (written note) of when barbicide is changed as several stylists are using same solution.
- Extra barbicide is available on site (in laundry /clean up room). Follow directions on label for dilution, changing and contact time. Use for combs, brushes, etc.
- Stylist with client - unable to ask questions about clippercide. ***For those using clippers, use a clipper disinfectant - not checked today.
- On site laundry - use hot dry.
- Two hair washing sinks. Backflow preventer (vacuum breaker) connected on both sinks.
- Cleaning - good.
- Washroom clean and has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and single use hand drying towels.
