Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Ice machine observed with black mold build up. The ice is used directly in burger patty meat. Operator began cleaning and disinfecting the ice machine during time of inspection. Operator also posted a "do not use" sign on the ice machine.
Correction: Ensure the ice machine is not in use until it is cleaned and sanitized according to manufacturer directions. Increase frequency of ice machine cleaning and sanitizing to prevent mold growth.

- General sanitation satisfactory during time of inspection
- Ice machine observed in a clean and sanitary manner. Ensure ice machine is cleaned and sanitized more often as per approved sanitation plan.
- No outstanding violations observed
- Handwashing station in staff kitchen supplied with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water

No signature due to COVID-19. Inspection report will be emailed to the operator.
