Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No bleach sanitizer was prepared and ready for use.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure bleach sanitizer is prepared and available for use to sanitize food contact surfaces. Bleach at 100ppm was prepared at the time of inspection. To prepare 100ppm to 200ppm bleach, add 1 teaspoon bleach per litre of water. Ensure spray bottle is properly labelled to identify the contents.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Wall freezer was at -18C.
-Chest freezers and upright freezers were less than -18C.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plug available.
-Bulk foods covered and protected from potential contamination.
-Random selection of foods were found to be within their best before dates. Canned food items were in good condition.
-Foods properly stored off the ground and covered.
-Food items and non-food items/chemicals were stored separately.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
