A routine inspection was completed:
- Chips only being produced in the the premises. No longer making red bean buns, only selling the red bean paste.
- Freezer was -20C and thermometer present.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle and wiping cloth had [Cl2] above 200ppm. Mix 1 Tbsp of bleach with 4 Litres of water, or 1 tsp of bleach with 500mL of water (spray bottle).
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; date coded; foods stored in groups and foods stored 6" off the floor.
- No expired foods in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- Exhaust canopy was professionally cleaned this month. Next service due in September 2024 as per service sticker.
- Staff clean the exhaust canopy filters when accumulation of grease is observed.
- Owner's FoodSafe certificate has expired, but will be attending the May 18/24 session via SUCCESS organization in Burnaby.

ACTION
Block the 2 holes in the walls, in the front dough making area to prevent entry of pests.
Clean the upper walls behind the cooking station as there is accumulated dust. Use a ladder to reach the upper walls, and clean with hot soapy/degreaser water and scrub brush. Ensure to do this on a regular basis.
