Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back handwash station liquid hand soap was a mixture of soap and water. Mixture was unable to remove oil from hands.
Corrective Action(s): Do not dilute soap with water. This may affect the ability of soap from removing oils and organic materials from hands. Mixture of soap and water was removed at the time of inspection and replaced with regular soap.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Canned food was stored in an opened metal can.
2) Bowl was stacked directly on top of a food item.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Once canned foods are opened, the contents must be transferred to a food grade container to prevent potential contamination of foods. Canned sauce was transferred to a food grade container at the time of inspection.
2) Do not stack containers directly on top of foods to prevent the base of the bowl from potentially contaminating the foods. Bowl was removed at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Under counter freezer was at -12C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Foods are cooked to greater than 74C prior to hot holding.
-Cooked congee was observed cooling using a cold water bath.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Front handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pails labelled and tested at 100ppm.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Pest control services are offered by the same pest control operator which services T&T.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until May 1, 2023.
