Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Internal temperature of miso soup in a hot holding unit was measured at 52C. The soup was re-boiled for >15 seconds at this time.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed number of measuring cups and two vegetable spiralizers stored close proximity to a mop sink. Food contact surfaces near the mop sink were removed to be washed and sanitized.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed a container of tofu stored underneath raw proteinaceous products. Tofu relocated at this time.

Observation: Observed a piece of cardboard box under the deep fryer which was soaked in oil.
Corrective Action(s): The cardboard box to be discarded at the end of the day when the oil in the deep fryer is cool enough for a safe removal. All surfaces must be smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable. Correct this by: Feb 23, 2022

Routine inspection conducted:
All coolers (e.g., under counter coolers, 2 door coolers, etc.) were measured at 4C or less.
All freezers (e.g., cabinet freezers, upright freezer, etc.) were measured at -18C or less.
Thermometers available for each coolers/freezers.
High temperature dishwasher's sanitizing cycle was measured at 72.3C at the plate level.
No sign of recent pest activity at this time.
General sanitation is adequate.

*Note: Initially proposed use of air fryer was replaced with a domestic deep fryer. A domestic kitchen vent hood without a built in fire suppression system is located above the deep fryer. Operator is to cease the operation of the deep fryer. Operator is to contact the Surrey Fire Service to have a current set up inspected/reviewed.
