Observation: - Rodent droppings observed inside cabinet (under soda pop dispenser) and under prep cooler (across from soda pop dispenser).
Corrective Action(s): - Remove droppings and thoroughly clean above noted areas.
- Use 100-200 ppm chlorine bleach solution (1 tsp chlorine bleach + 1 L water) on affected areas.
- Maintain a high level of sanitation throughout the premises - clean up spilled food debris and grease accumulation to minimize potential pest attraction.
- Ensure that all items are stored at least 6" (15 cm) off the ground to facilitate cleaning and pest monitoring.
- Continue monitoring for pest activity. Use glue traps and/ or snap traps.
- Keep back door closed at all times to avoid potential pest entry.
