Corrective Action(s): Replace or repair the handle so it does not cause physical injury. Date to be corrected by: July 23, 2021. Violation Score: 9 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: 2 standup coolers in the kitchen (white and black True refrigerators) were not able to achieve and maintain air temperature of 4C or colder. White True refrigerator was at 7.4C, Black True refrigerator was at 5.7C. No food items were stored in either coolers since the last routine inspection. Corrective Action(s): Coolers must be able to maintain 4C or colder. Service coolers immediately. Correction order will be issued. Date to be corrected by: July 23, 2021. Violation Score: 9 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)] Observation: The following changes to the previously approved floor plan have been observed: - Prep sink missing from back prep area in kitchen - Hot water tank in place where the stacking washer dryer is indicated - 1 standup freezer (2-door) is now a 2-door refrigerator - 1 standup freezer (2-door) is now a 1-door freezer Corrective Action(s): Submit revised floor plans that accurately reflect the above mentioned changes. Follow-Up to routine inspection #KLIU-C4UR23 on July 12, 2021 The following corrections have been noted: - Soup bases thawing in cooler. No room temperature thawing observed. - Wiping cloths submerged in sanitizer bucket. **ensure it is not obstructing the handsink. Remaining action items: - Door handle to standup freezer needs replacement or repairing (see violation 307). - 2 standup coolers in kitchen must be serviced to maintain 4C or colder (see violation 308). - Revised floor plans reflecting the changes made to the kitchen area (see violation 311). Please have all action items completed by the indicated date. Report emailed after reviewing with supervisor on site. Signature not obtained due to COVID-19 protocols.
