Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence.
Licensing Officers inspected the premise on October 17, 2022, and determined that care was being provided to 30 preschool aged children by caregiver and 6 additional adults. Licensing determined Nadine Knelson was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) at Yarrow Community Hall.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and interviewed, an inspection of the physical facility was conducted.

The following contravention was cited:
-Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(b) Operating or advertising without a licence

The operator is required to immediately cease and desist or reduce the number of children in care to no more than two children unrelated to her or a sibling group. The Licensing Officer will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm ongoing compliance.
