Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handsink in the back room was obstructed and not easily accessible. A sign was still posted to not block the handsink. *Repeat Violation*
Corrective Action(s): Ensure an adequate clearance is kept around handsinks to assure they are easily accessible for handwashing. Please review this with other staff members as well.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chlorine sanitizer bottle was not properly labelled inside the food service establishment (main prep. area). Bleach bottle in the back area was labelled as "sanitizer".
Corrective Action(s): Ensure each sanitizer bottle is properly labelled as required by the Food Premises Regulation and to properly identify cleaning chemicals/sanitizers to prevent any chemical hazards.

Observation: Light cover over ceiling lights in the back area is missing. Note: Light cover is available onsite however needs to be installed.

Comments

Handsinks were adequately supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Walk-in-cooler was at or below 4 degrees C.
Pizza cooler was at or below 4 degrees C on the bottom. Pizza toppings in the inserts were at or below 4 degrees C.
2 hour rule was in effect (via a time stamp on a white board) for the hot pizza kept at room temperature.
Hot pizza kept between 4 to 60 degrees C is discarded every 2 hours.
One door freezer was at or below -18 degrees C.
No signs of recent pest activity were observed at the time of inspection.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside the bucket and two spray bottles.
FOODSAFE trained staff member was present onsite (FOODSAFE valid until September 30, 2022).
Note: Operator submitted an application for health approval form to change the doing business as from Pizza Pit to Hot Pizza Pit.
