Code 303 noted on Routine inspection # KLAI-CX6TEB of Nov-01-2023 Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)] Observation: Debris/ buildup noted in the interior of the ice machine. Correction: Do not serve any ice from the ice machine. Empty out the ice machine. Clean and sanitize the interior of the ice machine as per the manufacturer instruction. Follow-up inspection for report# KLAI-CX6TEB Paper towel is now available by the front handwash station. Did not observe any unsanitary food safety practices during the inspection. Walk-in cooler has been fixed. Internal temperature of the unit was at 3.0C. Operator provided picture evidence that the interior of the ice machine basin was cleaned and sanitized after the inspection. Operator has hired an external pest control company for an inspection. Pest control company came on November 2, 2023 - report was reviewed during the inspection. As per operator, they will be coming in every 2 weeks to assist the facility with their ongoing pest issue. Most places noted with mouse droppings have now been cleaned - some still noted on the floor by the ice machine and dry storage area - please clean and sanitize whenever mouse droppings are noted that way you can monitor activities. No further follow-up at this time. Thank you for acting on all violations immediately as they were pointed out.
