Routine inspection conducted for warehouse storage / distribution facility. No food processing is conducted on-site. The following observations were made: - Area is generally well lit and maintained in sanitary condition - All food products are packaged and stored on pallets, elevated off the floor - Chemicals stored on separate shelving from any food products - Walk-in cooler at 1C - Walk-in freezer at -19C - Thermometers available for monitoring of walk-in cooler / freezer - Employee restrooms are in sanitary condition. Washroom sinks stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels - 2-compartment sink near back of facility is used as a mop sink - Cleaning schedule is as follows: nightly sweep of the premise, and a deep clean during school breaks (e.g. Winter break, spring break) - No visible signs of recent pest activity at time of inspection - Facility contracts a professional pest control company to conduct monthly checks. History of reports and invoices were shown during inspection. Last inspection on January 10, 2019 did not reveal any signs of rodent activity No other concerns at this time.
