Comments

Liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels were available at the handsink.

Cooler was 4 degrees C or colder.
Freezer was -18 degrees C or colder.
Both refrigeration units were equipped with accurate thermometers.
A probe thermometer was available on-site.
Temperature records were being maintained.

200 ppm quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATS) sanitizer was available in the spray bottle.
A sufficient supply of wiping cloths were available on-site for single-use and a laundry basket was available. Wiping cloths are laundered once per week off-site according to the chef.
Dishwasher final rinse was 77 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) internally at the plate.
Dry storage areas and cabinets were clean and organized.
No signs of pest activity were observed during the inspection.

The new chef was certified in FOODSAFE.
The chef mentioned that they bake products without eggs to prevent potential allergic reactions and that currently one child is able to have eggs.

NOTE: The container for organics was re-located to another spot during the inspection to enable easier access to the handsink. Ensure that the area surrounding the handsink is kept free of obstacles that may hinder access to it.
