Open display cooler (sandwich) at 4 degrees C*
Under counter 1-door cooler at -2 degrees C (ambient)
Walk in cooler at 1 degree C
Upright freezer at -19 degrees C
Chest freezer (front) at -27 degrees C
Chest freezer (back) at -19 degrees C
Random selection of food items were checked for best before dates and stock rotation. Items were observed within printed best before dates. First in first out procedures appear to be in use.
Random selection of canned items were checked for condition. Cans observed to be in good condition.
Hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels available for hand washing.
2-compartment sink with sink plugs and hot and cold running water available for manual ware washing. Chlorine-based sanitizer available on site for sanitizing equipment.
Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer available in labeled spray bottle at 200 ppm.
No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
Temperature logs maintained.
*Note: Some areas of the cooler were measured above 4 degrees C (some areas measured 6 to 7 degrees C at time of inspection)--food items were moved closer to cold air source as a precaution. Ensure cooler is capable of maintaining all potentially hazardous foods at 4 degrees C or less. Note: Cooler may be on defrost cycle.
