HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 4
Critical Hazards: There are no critical hazards.
Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation:
1) Various taps (hot & cold) and faucets, in the main kitchen, drip water even when the water is turned off. Constantly dripping water will attract pests.
2) The plastic lids on the large, mobile food containers storing dry goods (pasta, rice, flour, etc.) are cracked. Pieces of plastic could fall into the foods and the lids are not cleanable as bacteria hide in the cracks.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Repair or replace all taps or faucets that leak/drip water to prevent the attraction of pests (drain flies). There shall be no dripping/leaking water from any tap, faucet, sink, or pipe.
**Correction date: Nov. 1/17**
2) Inspect all plastic food container and lids for cracks and/or chips. Discard all damaged items and replace with new ones.
**Correction date: Jan. 1/18**
Violation Score: 3

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation:
Various walls in various areas of the main kitchen, serveries, food storage areas, and hallways (in food processing areas) are chipped and have peeling paint. The drywall is exposed and will absorb food debris and water, and is not cleanable. This will attract pests if walls can not be cleaned properly. This violation was mentioned in the past inspection and has not been corrected.
Corrective Action(s):
Inspect all walls and corners in all kitchens, serveries, and hallways in food processing areas for damage (pull equipment, tables, shelves, trollies away from walls during inspection). Repair all damage walls so they are durable, level, smooth, sealed, of light color, and cleanable.
**Correction date: Jan. 1/18**
Violation Score: 1

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
