Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Electricity was off for an unknown period of time at this facility complex. Front reach-in cooler was noted at 11.0C at the time of inspection. Cold potentially hazardous food items were noted ranging from 12.6C to 13.4C. Picture evidence collected.

Cold potentially hazardous food items stored in inserts (e.g. diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepperoni, meat, cooked diced chicken, sliced mushroom) and containers of shredded cheese, minced garlic and feta cheese were discarded by operator.

Corrective Action(s): Call technician to fix front reach-in cooler. Cooler must be able to maintain at 4C or less before it can be used to store cold potentially hazardous food items.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including washrooms, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel/ blow dryer (washrooms).
All refrigeration units, except for unit noted in violation# 308, were at ≤ 4C.
All freezer units were noted at ≤ -18C.
Bleach sanitizer spray bottle available. 200 ppm chlorine residual detected.
Drain plugs available for manual warewashing.
High temperature dish machine was able to reach 71.0C at the plate level during the rinse cycle.
Meat slicer noted in excellent sanitary condition.
No pest activities noted during the inspection.
Manager was onsite at the time of inspection - FOODSAFE level 1 verified - expires Sep 30, 2026.
