Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection to Routine Inspection # SMIA-CR3NP8 dated 20 April 2023 was conducted. All newly licensed facilities in Fraser Health receive one routine and one follow up-inspection to ensure they are maintaining compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During inspection dated February 1, 2024 there were five children, one staff and manager present.
The following was discussed with the manager:
Screening and training of new staff
Criminal Record Check Review Sharing Program
The inspection report was written on-site and details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the follow up to routine inspection report is provided to the manager at this inspection.
