Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front handwash station did not have single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Paper towels were placed at the handwash station at the time of inspection.

Observation: Quats sanitizer solution was too strong. Approximately 1600ppm (diluted 8 times to 200ppm).
Corrective Action(s): Quats sanitizer must be at 200ppm. Concentrations in excess of 200ppm is not considered food grade.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Quats sanitizer dispenser was dispensing sanitizer at approximately 1600ppm.
Corrective Action(s): Service sanitizer dispenser and ensure it can dispense 200ppm Quats sanitizer. While dispenser is being serviced, staff can fill spray bottles with approximately 100mL sanitizer and 700mL water.

Observation: Quats sanitizer spray bottle was unlabelled.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are properly labelled to identify their contents to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals. Containers will need o be relabelled as needed.

Comments

-Only prepackaged foods onsite and dispensed slush beverages
-Refrigerator/freezer was at 3C/-16C.
-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-3-compartment sink used for cleaning and sanitizing. While Quats sanitizer dispenser is being serviced, use 1:7 dilution for warewashing.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
